Performed Stent Angioplasty on a physically challenged (polio) patient from Mizoram.

He was honored with Swami Vivekananda and Vidya Alankar Awards by Hon. Governor of Goa, Shri S.C. Jamir in 2007 at Kolkata.

Stent Angioplasty was done on Anomalous RCA using VODA Guiding Catheter, (this technique has not been reported earlier) published in Indian Heart Journal.

Nobel Laureate Mother Teresa was under his care at B.M.Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata, India in the years 1993 and 1996.
